Martial Arts ? Muay Thai Kickboxing Thailand

Muay Thai is a very dangerous form of kickboxing that was originally outside the country of Thailand. There is a certain similarity with this form of martial arts and other forms of Indochina or South-East Asian boxing. Cambodia has a similar style they call the Pradal Serey. Malaysia practices a similar form called Tomo. The people of Myanmar, also known as Burma, a style called Lethwei. And the people of Laos, in the South-East Asian style of practicecalled Muay Lao.

Muay Thai Boxing is the sport of combat and is considered the most important national sport of Thailand. A style called Muay Boran is the ancient traditional form of Muay Thai, where they fought with fewer rules and was not sanctioned as a sport it is today. It was said that before a fight their hands were wrapped in hemp rope and then dipped in resin and glass, small chips to these fights very brutal. This sport is often known as "The art of eight limbs". The reason why this term fists, elbows, was shaped knees and feet were used, similar to the 8 points of contact. This is in contradiction with the two points that were used in Western boxing.
