(AP) ? Giants first baseman Aubrey Huff has become the second big leaguer to get injured this month while celebrating a no-hitter.

Huff sprained his right knee while trying to jump over the dugout railing and join the postgame celebration of Matt Cain's perfect game Wednesday night.

Two week ago, Mets pitcher Ramon Ramirez hurt his hamstring following Johan Santana's gem.

An MRI performed Thursday on Huff revealed the extent of the damage.

"He's got a pretty good bruise in the right knee," San Francisco manager Bruce Bochy said. "He's going to lose some time, and he was going to have some at-bats in the American League parks. It's a bad break for him and for us."

Cain threw the first perfect game in Giants history in a 10-0 win over the Houston Astros ? the second perfect game and fifth no-hitter in the majors this season.

Huff, a top candidate for designated hitter duty when the Giants visit Seattle for an interleague series this weekend, landed on his knee as he jumped over the railing and had to be helped off the field.

Huff is hitting only .120 in 19 games since being activated from the disabled list.

The Mets previously put Ramirez on the 15-day DL with a strained right hamstring. The right-hander was hurt while running in from the bullpen after Santana pitched the Mets' first no-hitter on June 1.
